KidsIf your child would like to join in and become a Scout then you will need to get them enrolled at your chosen Scout group. Use the links on the right to find your chosen group, then find the contact details for the relevant section leader. The Section leader will then give you a start date or may add your child’s name to a waiting list. The sections are divided as follows: Beaver Scouts: From 6 up to 8 *Please note that not all groups offer all the sections. |

14 - 25Scouting is great fun for people of all ages, but there are some really exciting opportunities for young people of over 14 such as World travel and the chance to gain qualifications and become Young Leaders. For more information please refer to the Scouts main website: Click here >> |

ParentsA large proportion of adults in Scouting have become involved once their children have joined. They may have helped out on the odd occasion, camp or fundraiser. They may have volunteered to become a committee member and help with the running of the group, or they may have chosen to get the necessary training to become a leader. Once involved, most people really enjoy being a part of the Scouts which is why the movement has lasted for over 100 years and is looking good to go another 100! The Scouts is a community based charity and relies on the support of the community and unfortunately some groups in North Devon do not have enough adult volunteers to be able to offer all sections. If you are interested in getting involved, then the best person to contact is the GSL (Group Scout Leader) of the group you are involved with or read more information on the Scouts main website. |
